Homemade Bread with Pumpkin Seeds

Soft and delicious homemade bread with healthy pumpkin seeds.

4 medium flat breads:
  • 4 cups of white plain flour 
  • 2 cups of warm water


  • 3 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil

  • 7 g fast action yeast
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  1. In a mixer bowl mix together all flour, yeast, salt, sugar and seeds.
  2. Add oil and warm water.
  3. Attach the dough hook and knead everything for about 5 minutes until the dough is well combined and smooth.
  4. Take out the dough and knead on the lightly floured table for a few minutes.
  5. Divide to 4 equal pieces, make them round, cover with a clean towel and leave for 5-10 minutes to rest.
  6. Flatten them and put on a baking sheet. Cover once again and leave to rise for an hour until doubled in twice.
  7. Heat the oven to 205C/401F/Gas5.
  8. Prick every bread with fork few times just before placing into hot oven and bake for 30 minutes till nicely brown. 
  9. Take put of the oven and leave to cool.
